Tetris Coming to WiiWare (Sigh)

Nintendo has finally listened to the fans and their bringing an updated Nintendo classic to WiiWare!
Excited?
You shouldn’t be because they’ve picked Tetris. A game that has thousands of ports on thousand of different systems, and I’m pretty sure I can play Tetris on the ice dispenser in my fridge.
Tetris Party will be making its way to North America with 18 modes to play through, 10 of these modes are brand spanking new! (I didn’t know there was more than one way to play Tetris…) Games can be played on-line through the Wii’s Wi-Fi connection and you’ll be able to use your Miis in the game, and somehow you’ll be able to use the balance board to play… What?! Why would you want to play Tetris using the balance board?!
I don’t need a new Tetris so I’m passing, but I guess if you’re rabid fan of the puzzle game this is good news. Yawns for everyone else.
