[UPDATE: The update was removed, now some people are saying it's up again. Damn you, EA!]
The update for the disastrously buggy NCAA Football 09 has just gone live. Last week, Pasta Padre had reported that the patch would fix following bugs, including the annoying slider problem (only user sliders worked):
Online
- Ability to view your Online Dynasty HQ through EA Sports World
- Improved online performance
Dynasty
- Fixed a couple recruiting exploits
- Faster simming between weeks
Custom Stadium Sounds
- The “All” option will now only work when the user is the home team
Click “Read more…” for the rest of the list.
Gameplay
- Improved coverage on kicks
- Hook Zones depth keeps defenders in their zones
- Fixed an issue with the Strafe Catch
- Allow fumbles to occur when diving
- WR screen routes improved
Bug Fixes
- Sliders will now work correctly
- An issue with missing stats after simming has been fixed
- Ball carrier will no longer run out of bounds when changing hands and heading towards the sidelines
- Fixed an exploit that allowed the slot receiver to burn the safeties in a prevent defense
- Fixed a bug where the the ball would hit the cross bar, drop through, and not be counted
- Fixed a bug that would prevent Hot Routes from working
Let us know how the patch is.

Go to hear its patched but to say disasterously buggy seems a stretch. Not sure if that was Jonah’s quote or not.

is there a way to download the patch or roster updates onto a cd rom from a pc and then put the cd in the 360 and let it update ncaa 09? is there any game that lets you do this?

All publishers know that a lot of gamers don’t have access to broadband – or use it for their console systems. Go to EA’s support site for info on that.

There is a way to verify whether this patch was up or not: go to easportsworld and see if your Dynasty HQ is available there. It isn’t.
What evidence is there that people weren’t seeing patch #1 and thinking it was #2, which includes the features in this post?
Your link to operationsports.com shows you don’t know the difference between the patches.
