PlayStation Store Thursday today features some retro goodness - one an update of a classic platformer, and the other a port of a PlayStation One fighter.
Bionic Commando Rearmed makes it’s debut on the PlayStation 3 for $9.99, two days after the Arcade version, while the PSOne version of Street Fighter Alpha arrives for $5.99. There’s a demo for Rearmed for those who want to sample before they buy, while the 1942: Joint Strike demo belatedly arrives as well.
A pair of important demos for retail games do show up, though. The Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 demo that appeared earlier today on the 360 arrives, as does a demo for NHL 2K9.
The Rock Band songs that landed on Marketplace on Tuesday also arrive, including Constant Motion (by Dream Theater), Aesthetics of Hate (by Machine Head), My Curse (by Killswitch Engage), Clouds Over California (by DevilDriver), Runnin’ Wild (by Airbourne), and Sleepwalker (by Megadeth), all for 99 cents, or all six for $5.99, as part of a price promotion - they go for $1.99 each and $9.99 for all 6 on August 21.
