my game always hangs at the start or at the main menu. i haven’t been able to play the game on my system, does this patch fix the problem?

I have had a lot of hangs in the game. The game will be running fine, then all of a sudden, pauses. I have to go into task manager to shut down Spore. Now that I have made it to the Space stage, the game hangs every time I try to play it.

I have this problem too. Not all creatures, but it seems impossible to fix atm.

I have also had a all of my paints reaaaally messed up since the update.

I read about a previous paint problem that could be fixed by entering “option OptionBakeQuality 1 -save” into the cheat console. It had no effect.

anyone else have this problem pop up?

Am I the only 1 having this issue– all of my current creatures, and all future ones have REALLY messed up paint jobs.. theyre just…bizarre and i cant change the fact they are messed even if I try. Anyone else?
