There’s a new Facebook game application called Dungeons & Dragons: Tiny Encounters, published by Wizards of the Coast, with an interesting twist on gameplay.
You select an adventurer of a specific class, equip him, then send him on an adventure - and get reports of how he or she is doing.
That’s it.
The most interaction you have is having your hero quaff one of two potions that they start the adventure with. It is sort of like part of Fantasy Empires, the old AD&D computer game in which you’d send off your hero to try to gain experience on some adventure, hoping they’d survive, find loot and be higher level so that they could be more effective in the massive battle screens.
The concept is intriguing and we’ll let you know how good it is. You can check it out now on Facebook here.
