Okay, we know Spore was released yesterday (along with Spore Creatures) on an unorthodox Sunday release date. What other notable games are coming out this week?
Well, not much:
September 9
- FlatOut: Head On (PC)
- NHL 2009 (360, PS3)
- TNA Impact (360, PS3, PS2, Wii)
- Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise (DS)
- Zoids Assault (360)
However, NHL 2009 is one of the few high-quality EA Sports franchises that actually delivers, and the DS version of Viva Pinata actually manages to crunch the entire original Xbox 360 title into the handheld. TNA Impact looks to be a top-notch wrestling game, far better than Smackdown Vs. RAW. So there is something out there - but just a brief blip in this Autumn of pain.
