The attach rate for the Wii must be deplorable for that demographic. Which brings up the point about where is the profit in a console system that does not continue to sell games? I guess it could be thought of as an obscene waste of resources by Nintendo to target that demographic. I'm part of the 50 demographic being targeted and I don't really understand the Nintendo Wii. I feel as though I've grown past that type of gaming. Been there done that. I watch my son play Mario Galaxy Wii and I see I would have liked it 5 years ago but I won't pick up a controller to play it now. It pains me to believe Nintendo may be correct.
