The Xbox 360 is now less expensive than the Wii - a ton of them were flying off the shelves this weekend in GameStops here in NYC. Be interesting to see if the "shortage" by Nintendo happens again.

It pains me to believe Nintendo may be correct. The attach rate for the Wii must be deplorable for that demographic. Which brings up the point about where is the profit in a console system that does not continue to sell games? I guess it could be thought of as an obscene waste of resources by Nintendo to target that demographic.

I'm part of the 50 demographic being targeted and I don't really understand the Nintendo Wii. I feel as though I've grown past that type of gaming. Been there done that. I watch my son play Mario Galaxy Wii and I see I would have liked it 5 years ago but I won't pick up a controller to play it now.
