Just like last week, there are three titles to choose from Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, September 10.
- RocketBowl (800 MSP)
- Samurai Shodown 2 (400 MSP)
- Shotest Shogi (800 MSP)
RocketBowl is LargeAnimal’s 2004 casual title which is a cross between bowling and miniature golf. I could go on again about the title, but you can check here for a quick summary. It sure took a while, though – it was first announced 16 months ago. Samurai Shodown 2 has already landed on Virtual Console two weeks ago, so you can give your knock for Achievement points justice soon. Shotest Shogi is an adaptation of the Japanese version of chess.
Also, there’s some new downloadable content for N+ – a ton of new single and multiplayer levels for 200 MSP.

Samurai Shodown 2 takes you back to the days of great coin-op 2D fighters as you choose from 16 fighters to do battle against a slew of opponents.

Lastly, check out the chess inspired game Shotest Shogi where your goal is to capture the King through strategic moves.
Already a huge hit in Japan, players can use tutorials to learn the game or just jump right in.

If that’s not enough, check out some downloadable content also coming your way on Wednesday.

YAWN… I’m still playing through recent great releases like BC: Rearmed, Galaga Legions, and Braid… no time for mediocrity…

It costs money, $5 is probably $4 too much. To each their own though guys…

I’m not seeing anything this week that I’m really interested in either, but I can see where people would like Rocket Bowl.
