Force Unleashed Chokes Out Old Record

LucasArts has announced that the demo for their upcoming action/adventure game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, has broken the previous record on Xbox Live Marketplace for most downloads! A representative for the company stated that in the first eight days the demo was downloaded more than a million times, which beat out the previous record holder by reaching the benchmark number by a day.
These numbers combined with the numbers from the Sony PSN store bring the total of people mindlessly throwing around objects with their minds to 2.3 million people. Not bad for a 30+ year old franchise, huh?
You could choke a Wookie with numbers like that!
