Shawn Elliot becomes one of many to leave 1Up.com and its circle of magazines, in an apparent exodus from Ziff-Davis.
He joins the following who have left the publishing giant:
Not since the Jeff Gerstmann firing has there been so many editors leaving a video gaming publisher, as Ziff-Davis does nothing to disprove that its filing for bankruptcy is a serious warning sign that it may go under.

People are saying it was a joke that he admitted to at the end of the podcast where he said he was leaving.
