Zero Punctuation Reviews Spore

And Ben once again “reviews” a game, this time Spore. It’s odd Ben would love The Sims but not Spore, since the former title is a massive micromanagement time sink. In addition, poor Ben thinks the entire game is be carnivore or herbivore (wrong). He also is quite wrong in many other aspects. He claims it’s easier to go postal on everything, which is blatantly untrue - it’s actually easier to befriend other tribes in the Tribal phase, and much easier to use commerce to buy other cities in the Civ phase. And going to war in the Space phase…? Ugh. The question must be asked: did Ben actually spend more than 2 hours on Spore? Most of his review would be laughed at by people who actually played the game more than once.
No, really. My own review will point out some serious issues with the game, but at least they’ll be based on actual thorough gameplay, and not on two hours.
