Teaser Trailer Up: New Halo 3 Levels? [UPDATE]

The teaser trailer is up, and it seems to show a mass of drop pods landing on Earth, as your standard The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy “Don’t Panic!” style warnings pop up, after which Halo 3 logos flash.
Is this an expansion to Halo 3? Is it what the “Mythic” Pack really is? Is it a Red Vs. Blue game addition, in which you play as members of Red Vs. Blue? Are you playing as the Covenant? Are you playing just before the events of Halo 2?
[UPDATE: The video is up on Marketplace now, and the text reads: "High action and deep mystery await players in this new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop."]
[UPDATE 2: X3F is reporting that the release date could have been leaked in the video: 01/06/09.]
