Gears of War 2: Free Map, Gun on Day One

Those of you who get Gears of War 2 at launch will get a free downloadable map and a special gun as a reward.
Here’s how it works: the game comes with a redeemable voucher code for the free “Flashback” map pack, which the player redeems over Xbox Live. In exchange, the player gets five multiplayer maps from the original Gears of War, albeit graphically enhanced: Canals, Gridlock, Mansion, Subway, and Train Tyro Station. The download is planned to go live on November 7th, Gears of War 2’s launch date.
Also, anyone playing in the “Midnight Madness” launch events will get a gold-plated Hammerburst assault rifle. It doesn’t do anything special - it’s just a skin, but it’s also nerd cred for when you’re playing online.
