With all the problems being experienced by the released PC version of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, it seems like the Xbox 360 version may be heading to vaporwarehood, as Funcom stated that the 360 version was “not a priority” when asked about a release date.
According to product director for Funcom Jorgen Tharaldsen:
Development on the Xbox 360 version is not our key priority, as there are a massive amount of PC gamers already playing the game, and we rightly have the focus on them. While there is a dedicated specialist project team working on Xbox, the PC version will remain our top priority for now.
Tharaldsen went on to discuss the challenges and benefits the 360 version will have, like controller issues, but if the PC version continues to require so much manpower to even stay alive, one wonders if Funcom will cut bait at some point.
