No Holiday Price Cuts For PS3

CVG has announced that Sony will not be making any holiday price cuts this year on the PlayStation 3.

As previously discussed we aren’t making any price moves this holiday season,” Patrick Seybold, director of corporate communications at Sony Computer Entertainment America told Edge.

“In my opinion,” he added, “we have the best line up of any PlayStation generation going into this holiday and consumers will be very receptive to it.”

Sony cites LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, SOCOM, and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift as proof the system has enough exclusives to support the hefty PS3 price tag.

Is this a mistake? Let us know.

best line-up ever in a Sony console?! That’s a blatant lie. There isn’t a single game in there that is a must have, or that will make a mom/dad buy the console for their child. Especially considering how much more expensive the PS3 is over the 360 and Wii.
