Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Listed at ESRB for PS3 and 360

The ESRB ratings list has revealed again an unannounced title – this time, it’s the sequel to the arcade classic – which had hit the Dreamcast and the PlayStation One – Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. It had already been released for the Xbox and PlayStation 2, but now the listing features the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Which version will it be? Will it be an Xbox Live Arcade/PSN title? An Xbox Originals? (Note that Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is on the Xbox backwards compatibility list.) A full remake?

I surely hope it’s a remade XBLA title. The way my MvC2 disk runs on the 360 is terrible: artifacts, bad performance and visible hit boxes galore!
