Mortal Kombat II Vanishes From PSN

Mortal Kombat II has been one of the most popular games in Sony’s PlayStation Network. Consistently being in the top ten best sellers since the store launched. Which makes its sudden disappearance from the store all the more mysterious. Stranger still, those who have already purchased it no longer have it listed in their list of downloadable games.

Even stranger yet is that neither Sony or Midway seem to know what is going on with the games disappearance from PSN, though according to some of Sony’s tech support people, it is most likely a bug brought about by the new 2.50 firmware update.

Mortal Kombat II, in my opinion, is the only MK worth owning, or playing. Let’s hope they get this back into the store so people can get back to babalitys and friendships.

(Thanks, Joystiq.)
