Peggle: Dual Shot Announced for DS

Popcap’s Peggle continues to take over the world. After being announced for Xbox Live Arcade and recently releasing Peggle Nights (review), IGN is reporting that the Nintendo DS will be getting Peggle: Dual Shot.
PC gamers have been spoiled with the addictive puzzle game Peggle for a year now and recently got another fix with Peggle Nights. Developer PopCap has announced a Nintendo DS version is in the works and we’ve been waiting patiently to take the pachinko-meets-pinball game on the go. We’re going to have to keep being patient, though.
Today PopCap announced Peggle is scheduled for a March 3, 2009 release. The game is being sub-titled Dual Shot, which conveniently gives it the initials “DS.”
