How to Install Games on NXE

We’ve gotten a lot of hits on the web from people looking on how to install their game on the hard drive.

This is how you do it:

  • First, put your game in the drive. If it autoruns, just hit the Xbox Guide button and press Y to go back to the dashboard
  • Go to My Xbox - it should show you the game that you have
  • Press the Y button to go to Game Details
  • There should be an option to install the game.

You do the same thing to uninstall the game.

PS. Don’t install Halo 3.

    Wait so lets say you have a Gamefly account..cant u just rent games, then install and send back? free game?

    No. You still have to have a disc in the drive to verify you own the game.

    well i just found out you cannot install regular xbox games on the 360 hdd…only 360 games…kinda lame
