Activision has announced a spate of sequels games they will be publishing, including:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is the sequel of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This makes no sense, of course. Shouldn’t it be Call of Duty 6? Of course, since Call of Duty: World at War had no number, it could be Call of Duty 5. Or maybe it’s Call of Duty 8, since 4 x 2 = 8. Regardless, are you looking forward to returning to the near-future?
- Guitar Hero 5. Now, in this case, they’re considering World Tour to be Guitar Hero 4, which goes against what they’re doing in Call of Duty. Whatever the game, apparently it’ll have tons of in-game advertising.
- A new Tony Hawk. Activision says, “You’re not going to be playing this game with a controller in your hands.” Now, that might make sense with the Wii version, but what about the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and DS versions?
- Bizarre Creations of Project Gotham Racing fame will be making the video game adaptation of the next James Bond film (Live and Let Die is the next Bond book after Casino Royale) and a racing game that’s a cross between Mario Kart and Forza. Um, what? Will I be shooting a blue shell at a Lamborghini?
Let us know what you think.
[UPDATE: Activision is now claiming that the titles it confirmed are speculative. Um, okay.]

MW2 will be just as great if not better than COD4
