Wii Resale Price Equal to MSRP

Gamasutra is reporting that the Wii’s resale price, mostly on eBay, is now $250, the same as its MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price.) This is significant in that it indicates that the demand for the Wii has lowered to the point that people are unwilling to spend more for than they could get in a store. Interesting to note that the resale price actually dipped $15 lower in November, and the Christmas sales spike in December provided a boost to equal the MSRP.

The question now is – what happens when the Wii is no longer a fad?
