Microsoft Expecting PS3 Price Cut

Microsoft executive Aaron Greenberg told Edge that Microsoft was expecting Sony to finally slash the price of the PlayStation 3 within the next few months, and expressed surprise they hadn’t done it yet.
We absolutely expect the PS3 price drop to happen in the next couple of months…We’re frankly surprised it’s taken this long… I would expect they’d have to move on price, sooner than later, for sure.
Microsoft isn’t alone in its puzzlement over Sony’s unwillingness to cut prices on the PS3, for the past holiday season in particular, especially since there’s a current global recession.
