I mite sound like you parents write now but if you wouldn’t say it to there face, do not say it here. i happen to think they should clean up the game a little, but that is no reason to start gay people, teenage pregnancy, and Christians. think about it, imagine people saying “Atheists are horrible people filled with crap.” how would that make you feel? Well it’s the same with Christians. People have the right to believe in what they choose to believe in. Now John and Achmead, (Who i think are the same person.) I am a Christian, and just because you aren’t doesn’t mean you get to go trash talking us. Think about how you’re offending that person. And also in the bible it says if a man lays with another man he shall be put to death, but it also says the same for a child disobeying there parents. While i myself am not gay i happen to know somebody who is, and he is a great person with feelings. So put yourself in there position, people always putting you down because your different, say your a weird or wrong person, that would be horrible. And being gay is not always choice, sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. And lastly teenage pregnancy. I can understand people wanting to do it in the game, but in real life that would be horrible. And adult women die in laber, think how scary that would be for a teenager having to go through that. They also would mite have to drop out of school to support the baby, plus put up with the insults of cruel people like some who have written on here. So think about things before you say it how does it effect the person on the other side of the string. Also it’s just a game, if you have a problem don’t play, or if you really don’t like it call the company. Don’t start being a smart Alick to people. And as for you people who aren’t Christians I feel sorry for you. I would asking you dearly walk into a church and listen to Gods praise, learn about his un-dieing love for you, and have faith that everything is taken care of.

How is being gay a sin? How?? Huh?? Do you actually think Jesus would hate a gay person? No. He forgave the worst of people and gay people are not at all bad. Get over it. People can live how they like.
When does the bible ever say anything about gays? God put them on Earth didn’t he? Jesus forgave everyone right? Well think about that religious folks.

I agree. Homosexuality is perfectly natural and should thus be included in a game about the natures of life. We gays r out there..sorry christians for poluting your bullshit atmosphere but we exist. Mybparents raised me a Christian and with most Christian morals and I turned out gay..woops..be careful, ur straight sims might pop out a little gay boy. :]

Why do people have a problem with gay relationships in SIMS??? It’s a game! If people are complaining about anything like that in a game, they, no offence, need to get off the computer and get a life… Plus, why on earth is this a problem? In real life, some people really love people of the same sex, as much as a hertosexual person would love another. Actually, it’s estimated that about 1 in 10 people are gay. Ownage…?

okay, this is ridiculous. i’m 13 and i love this game, and I’m straight but I have no problem with homosexuality. We’re all just people.
1) judging someone because they are homosexual is like judging someone because they have brown eyes. it’s stupid. they can’t help who they are, they were born that way — CREATED that way, by God, and he loves them that way. three of my cousins are homosexual and are proud christians, and they were helped through the emotional battle by their church and their christian families. i was raised christian and my parents told me that you can’t help who you are, and to accept all different types of people – yeah, such nonsense they filled my head with.
2) IT IS A SIMULATION GAME. people woohoo in real life (though i don’t know anyone who uses that terminology)and they can choose to do it with someone of the same sex. so this should naturally be included in a game that simulates life. duh.
3) newsflash. your sim will not automatically become homosexual/fall in love with a sim of the same sex. in my experiance, you have to tell them who to gain romantic interest in, unless they have the “flirty” trait or whatever. if you don’t want your sims to be gay, don’t involve them in a relationship with a sim of the same sex.

Okay, I just wanted to say that I don’t understand how a topic about a GAME turned into a debate about peoples lifestyles.

Stick to the topic of the GAME. The game doesn’t force you to be gay, and if your children aren’t gay, then they’ll never know about the same-sex woo-hoo.

As for teen pregnancy/woo-hoo, there probably should be an option to take it off considering the rating. But I don’t think it’ll impact their minds that much considering they either already know about “woo-hoo” or they simply won’t know whats going on under those sheets. It’s really as simple as that.

For future reference, can we keep in on the topic of the game. Im sure there’s other places for gay debates.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this ‘discussion’! On the one hand, the awful grammar and spelling is hilarious. On the other, the hatred is depressing.

To all the people who apparently think homosexuality shouldn’t exist in the game or in the world: Your bigotry is showing.

To those who simply don’t care to see it in the game: DON’T INITIATE SAME-SEX ROMANTIC INTERACTIONS. The game won’t have gay relationships unless YOU start them. Play the way you want and let other people play the game the way they want.

Funnily enough, Texas has actually managed to pass a law banning marriage between a man and a woman. They passed a law defining marriage as between a man and a woman, and then said that no one was allowed to create a state identical to it. Marriage between a man and a woman is identical to marriage between a man and a woman. Marriage banned. Of course, when they realized what they did, they scrambled and came up with some excuse about the intent of the law being what mattered.

You have to let your kids have some kind of exposure to the world, otherwise when they grow up and aren’t under your control anymore they will go wild. Think of how an immune system works. Exposure to germs causes immunity to illness. If a kid is kept in too clean of an environment, when they are taken out of that environment they have no protection against disease and are far more likely to fall ill than the kid exposed to moderate amounts of stuff while growing up.

That is the exact thing that I am seeing with all you freaking Christians on here. And by Christians, I mean anyone whose religion requires them to have a closed mind and say “LALALALALALALA” while covering their ears whenever their religion doesn’t support something that’s being talked about. There’s such a thing as SCIENCE, and while I don’t really understand it (I’m an author) I know enough to confidently say that scientists have proven that homosexuality is natural, caused by a balance of horomones that may have an extra one over here, one less over there, etc. It’s not a frakkin’ choice people. And should you really be pissing about it when your Pastors rape kids?

Also, just wanted to get these out there:

1. WooHoo is NOT graphic. There is no actual nude images, they just hop under the covers and occasionally a leg or arm pops out. (However, this is changable by an UNOFFICIAL AND ILLEGAL PATCH)
2. TEENS CAN’T WOOHOO. THERE IS NO OPTION FOR IT. THEY CAN’T EVEN GET IN THE SAME BED TOGETHER. (SEE ABOVE BRACKET SPACE-THING)
3. By 2040 there will be, according to scientists, more homosexuals than heterosexuals on Earth.

Oh, and by the way, in case any of you religious nutjob rapists want to say “well youre parents oviousle didnt raise you right” stop right there, because both my parents are Fundamentalist whackjobs like you. They forced me into a catholic school before I was expelled for saying that I supported homosexual rights. They are actually the reason I became an Atheist – because I can’rt believe that there’s a heaven filled with people like them. And if there is, I’d rather go to Hell.

Well, first of all, the spelling/grammar issues on this page are hilarious. Seriously, there is even a spell check for the chat box.

Also, if you are going to debate, then DEBATE. About 90% of the comments on this page are meaningless garbage. “I’m homo and im effing mad that you think im weird. you are so effing retarded” “im a jesus freak and you are all going to hell” “im a teen and i think the woohoo is great, because ive already had three abortions, so i kno its realistik”

EA has the right to put whatever in a game that they put in a game, but seriously? Since when does SEX = RATED T? Whatever your beliefs concerning homosexuality and teen sex, I do believe that a higher degree of parental control would be a good addition to this game. The ability to “turn off” homosexuality/teen sex/sex period ( and then lock those decisions) should have been a foregone conclusion, but, alas, it is not.

Seriously people. GET A LIFE.
