RUMOR MILL: Circuit City Liquidation? [CONFIRMED]

[UPDATE: MSNBC.com has confirmed the story. Circuit City will be liquidating inventory.]
GoGamingGiant is reporting that Circuit City may be closing up shop permanently and liquidating its inventory.
Here is some very bad news for those who work at circuit city and even shop there. Word on Wall Street is that Circuit City has gone into a full liquidation mode and will be closing all stores and laying off roughly 35,000 employees…If you have any gift cards, USE THEM QUICK!!!!!
Here is an article from Bloomberg news regarding the situation. I just heard just a short time ago that it is almost all but official that they are going to close and layoffs would be forthcoming.
