GameSpy Sports New Look

GameSpy is now sporting a new look, calling it “more of blog style”. Is it an improvement?
From the layout to the editorial voice, nearly every element of the site is different. Here are the major changes you’ll notice right off the proverbial bat:
- A cleaner, blog-style design to make it easier to leisurely browse the day’s news, previews, and reviews
- A new review system focused on our opinion of what other critics and the community are saying
- More commentary by our staff of highly-intelligent, brutally-efficient editors
- The addition of more humor and parody articles including new webcomics and more Flintlocke!

I stopped using Gamespy years ago… I don’t know why I did… They just stopped having content that interested me. Oh, and they started charging to use Gamespy software and fileplanet, Fargo is no longer with them, and they don’t give author credit on the frontpage you have to click through to the article.
Not to mention the site’s covered in giant ads that crowd out the content.
