E3 ‘09: Sony Debunks PS3 Redesign Rumor

CVG is reporting that Sony is debunking the rumor that they will introduce a redesigned PlayStation 3 at E3 2009.
According to reports, Sony is preparing to make TWO hardware redesign-related announcements, one widely believed to be a new PSP, and the other now speculated to be a (possibly slimmer) redesigned PS3.
Sony UK, however, has told us today: “We currently don’t have any plans for a redesigned PS3″, so you can throw that one out the window.
Too bad – it would have been nice to see a comeback of the Banana Controller.
