There won’t just be Need for Speed: World Online coming this year for those of you looking for a Motor City Online fix – another racing MMO will be shown off at E3 2009: Victory: The Age of Racing, and it sounds hot.
The meat and potatoes of the game fall within the boundaries of the car customization features and upgrades. Players will race to win cash and level-up their car using an endless variety of parts and aesthetic accessories to detail and upgrade their vehicle.
What’s more is that Victory: The Age of Racing will run on the Net Kar Pro simulation physics engine, allowing for tight car handling and some of the most realistic car physics featured in an MMO.
Best of all, this will be a free-to-play MMO. Hopefully, they’ll achieve their promise of being able to cater to both casual racers and hardcore tuneheads who mod their cars three times past Sunday. It’s set in the glory days of racing – the 1960′s, at the height of Formula One racing.
