Wednesday, March 27 will have some cracking good games available on Xbox Live Arcade. First off is Wallace & Gromit in Fright of the Bumblebees, the first episode of the four part episodic adventure game series starring the twee crackpot inventor and his loyal dog. You can read our review here.
Next is Boggle for Hasbro Family Night. This is a great title – assuming it comes with online multiplayer. It’s unfortunate that it won’t be bundled with other games as it was with the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions.
Lastly is Yosumin Live, Square-Enix’s second casual game hitting Xbox Live Arcade, and it’s an unusual puzzle game. You’re presented with a box of colored squares, and have to create rectangles using the four points of like-colored squares. While this mind sound elementary and basic, it makes for an addicting puzzler. Check out the videos; the video after the break shows multiplayer (albeit with the CPU) and shows some that it can get pretty cutthroat.
All of the titles will be available for 800 MSP ($10).
(Thanks, Major Nelson.)
