High Voltage Reveals Gladiator A.D. For Wii

Conduit developer High Voltage has landed a pre-E3 reveal for Wii owners, in particular the core Nintendo audience: Gladiator A.D, which is as bloody as the title implies, putting the player in the role of a gladiator around the time of Christ.

As you might expect you’ll be fighting via slashes and stabs of the Wiimote and there’ll be multiplayer as well as several different story lines based on which gladiator you choose. Plotlines will be affected by your choices as after you defeat an opponent you’ll have the option to either kill them or leave them alive. Each character is more than just a slightly different story and background.

The game won’t be a 1:1 motion control game, but it’s still an exciting prospect from High Voltage, who seem determined to give the “hardcore” Wii owners a reason to continue playing with the Nintendo console.

Let us know what you think.
