E3 ‘09: NBA Unrivaled to XBLA and PSN

One of the more interesting items in Tecmo’s 2 gigabyte E3 press release is that they will be making a faux retro arcade b-ball title called NBA Unrivaled for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
According to the press release, NBA Unrivaled “pays homage to the old school look and feel of classic arcade games”, which suggests it’ll mimick games like NBA Jam. The game will feature a “momentum” meter that rises when the player excites the fans, which will improve the player stats. Multiplayer includes player vs. player and two players versus the computer. Oddly, the press release doesn’t state online multiplayer, but two console multiplayer.
Let us know if you’re interested in an NBA Jam-style title. The game is due later this year.

consoles.
• Difficulty Level Balance: Depending on your team’s stats, the difficulty level will be tuned to
accommodate for a more fun and challenging experience.

I REALLY hope its like NBA JAM.Backboard smashin,Arena Jumping 2v2 action.I Just hope.Nothing else will convince me.
