OT: Futurama Is Back – 26 New Episodes

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Comedy Central has ordered 26 brand spanking new episodes of Futurama to air.
A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox Television confirms that the cable net has ordered 26 new episodes of Matt Groening and David X. Cohen’s late, great animated series to air beginning in 2010.
No bloated, unfunny ninety minute movies that are way too interested in fan service – actual 22 minute episodes for airing on cable (and later selling as season DVDs).
How stoked are you for some new Futurama the way it was meant to be: short, fast and funny.
