Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Not Coming Til End of July

There was a rumor that Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 would be debuting next week on June 29 on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Capcom has Twittered that it simply isn’t true:

MvC2 is not actually coming out on June 29, sorry guys. Not sure where that rumor came from, but it’s going to be closer to the end of July.

Looks like you’ll have to wait a few more weeks, fighter fans.

As much as I love Capcom, I really wish they would give us a release date for this already and don’t understand why they are holding out.

But at least there are mutterings from their camp stating “by the end of July.”

  2. Jonah Falcon Says:

Microsoft declared it as a part of their Summer of Arcade II, so you can bet they’ll make sure the game is ready and certified before the end of July.
