For quite a few of us the introduction to Bethesda’s “Elder Scrolls” series was the third entry Morrowind. If you were at all curious as to what came before, you can now find out for free. Bethesda is making Daggerfall available as a free 150MB download.
Check it out – some love Daggerfall over Morrowind and Oblivion due to the massive scope and the freedom of character generation.

Woot, though this game hasn’t aged very well…
