LEGAL BRIEF: God of War III Banned in Australia

Welcome to the ranks, God of War III, of games that have been banned at one point or another in Australia. The people down under have deemed you too violent to exist there – which is slightly hypocritical since Fallout 3 was initially banned there not due to its head-popping violence but the use of real drug names – which led to the censoring of the game everywhere. Silent Hill: Homecoming had been banned for violence as well.
All of this could be solved with a new Australian R-18 rating, but that country is too immature for that.
