If you’ve been playing Battlefield 1943, you might notice that your rank and stats were reset. In a post by Simon Dalziel:
…when you log on to Battlefield 1943 today you will realise that your rank has been reset to 0. Not to worry, DICE are performing maintenance on the soldiers profiles to make them much better than they already are. All the kills will still contribute to the Coral Sea challenge but no word just yet on whether they will go towards your overall rank. After the maintenance is complete the ranks will be put back to normal, along with all the badges that you unlocked. DICE say that ranks will be back to normal within a few days.
Dalzeil also stated that DICE and Electronic Arts were working hard “around the clock” to lighten the server load and increase connectivity.
Let us know if you are having issues.

Hmm soldier profiles…. yes DICE we’d much rather have *them* fixed than the bugged out voice chat or the squad system that consistently splits squads!
