CinemaBlend is reporting that Rocksteady Studios will make a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum – if they feel people “like” it.
“We’re just waiting to see if people like the game,” Arkhamlead narrative designer Paul Crocker told VG247.
Judging by the consistently high scores, including our review, it’s plain people “like” it. Let’s hope Rocksteady is up to the challenge.
What would you like to see in Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 sequel? Personally, I’d like to see more stealth situations and less tiresome boss battles.

I personally want to see Scarecrow have a bigger role and for him not to be so much of a coward. You barely see him and the fights against him aren’t even fights.

Possibly a Mad Hatter’s Wonderland or take it to the streets of Gotham. Keep the riddler’s challenge. Add the Batmobile and co-op… Catwoman or Robin would be awesome! This is an amazing game and has really elevated the comic book video game genre!

The sequel will definitely have: Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Bane.
Arkham Asylum hints at the following villains: Two-Face (Batman is racing off to stop him) – I bet Two-Face will be THE major villain of the sequel, Catwoman, The Penguin.
Some other villains I’d like to see: Solomon Grundy, Amygdala, Man-Bat (maybe not as a villain), and somehow, R’as Al Ghul. Talia, definitely, should appear.
I’d love to see a co-op mode in which you can have friends play Robin, Nightwing and Batwoman.

Absolutely loved the game!!! Can’t get enough of it, it was pretty short, I completed the story in two days, that’s quick for me lol.
But yes, DEFINITELY NEED A SEQUEL AND MANY MORE AFTER THAT! I’d love to see the game take place in the city and I want The Joker and Harley Queen to return among others and some new faces!!!

the game was great, but also finished the story in 2 days. it coulda been alot longer i think. def lookin foward to a sequel. the 2nd game should take place in gotham and give it a more free playing feeling kinda like gta4 or somethin. id like to see more characters, more villians a sidekick maybe. but overall arkham asylum was amazing!! good job keep em comin.

This game is great. If there will be a sequel thenI hope there will be something like Spider man 3 game. That you could glide from rooftop to rooftop and on the street, some missions with batmobile and batplane. This would be great. New bosses, stealth, different batsuits and so on. This would be perfect.

definitely needs a sequel but it needs to have a villain that’s smart enough to plan something like joker, maybe two-face but Dr. Strange knows who the batman is so it could be him, scarecrow needs more of a part and in terms of setting, Gotham but they need to keep the detail and the ability to drive the batmobile around the city

I say, include a dynamic lighting system. If you really wanna make sneeking easier, you should let batman take out lights with the batarangs. And they should also include arkham asylum PLUS you should be able to travel to gotham city. all the crazies from before stay in arkham, an in gotham you’ll find Penguin, Two-face, black mask, hush, dead shot, Riddler, and Catwoman (who doubles as the other player in Co-op mode) . Plus, what would happen if the riddler some how contracted titan?

What about a dynamic lighting system. taking out the lights with batarangs to frighten the criminals more. and What about broadening the games horizon. Instead of JUST arkham asylum, you can actually drive the batmobile to gotham city. So you have all the crazies still in arkham causing chaos, plus in gotham city you have other great villains. I.E solomon grundy, ras ah guhl, two-face, penguin, hush, dead shot, black mask, man-bat, riddler, and catwoman (who doubles as the other player in co-op mode). And of course, running the show are the three MAIN villains at the end of the game; bane, killer croc, and scarecrow. and DEFINITLLY add more scarecrow parts. it would not only be the best superhero game, but one of the best action games ever.

Since the Title is “Batman: Arkham Asylum”, i could see a sequel being “Batman: Assault on Gotham” or something that wouldnt have to reuse the Asylum locale too much, maybe implement the batmobile.

well first jonah falcon amygdala is already in batman there the things wat get mutated by the venon and batgirl is the oracle do u read the bios she in a wheelchair and i think they should like have it in arkham but then go into the city and maybe get batman traped in his own batcave but saying that i think if its in the city it wont be as good as in arkham thats my say but i think there already working on a new batman i mean just look at the end of the batma harvey dent broke into a bank what happens to harley i think that scarecrow will get inside and let every 1 out and batman will go in there and get traped again and scarecrow puts his hand up from the water HU or or scarecrow could make batman go into a huge pit of darkness and he makes him do anything like scarecrow said he was going to do wat do u think

That was not Amygdala in the start. That was a henchman whom Joker tested the Titan on. That henchman was killed by the Titan, if you notice.

Rock Steady Studios should make “Batman Arkham Asylum 2: Battle for Gotham” a free roaming open-world environment where whatever batman does determines how the story line of the game will play out. However, the game should be a one player game with either Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Catwoman, or even Huntress as one of batman’s allie/sidekicks (A.I.) to aid him in battle against low-life thugs and supervillians. By the way, the best major villians to have a batman arkham asylum sequel would be Blackmask, Penguin, Hush, Deadshot, Hugo Strange, and Killer Croc.

Sweet game! I definately think a #2 should be made. Scarecrow is going to be a major villain if not the main one. No one mentioned Zsasz, though. Even though he was in the old game, he was more or less only a tutorial in each of his appearances. It definately should be in Gotham, though, and it should be like Spiderman 3, where you can choose to stop petty crimes while you roam Gotham and Oracle can contact you when you have to do something involving the major storyline. But, what about something like the game Ultimate Spiderman? Where you play as Spiderman and Venom? Maybe play as Batman and whatever the main villain is?

I thought the game was superb all the way around. No complaints. The story, the gadgets, the fighting the bosses, the extras, the graphics. After you play once you wanna play more and more and more. Makes you feel like you are batman. I think the creators should take there time and make a good sequel. Sure everyone wants a lil something into the 2nd but I think the team that made this didnt overload it with crap and would do well coming up with a sequel all up on there own. I would like to see a game darker like in the tim burton movies involving the penguin as the main vilain in gotham city and also catwoman and the possibility to drive around in the batmobil (from interior and exterior view) with lot of gadgets on it and also be able to drive the batplan in the sewers. I want to see batman more involved with police department and gouvernment trying to stop the chaos in the city. Penguins trying to hijack conference with a bomb with lot of crowds and citizens and possibility to interact with them and enter in appartment rooms and buildings.

i want to see the all the villans in the Gotham city, plotting against batman like in arkham asylum.
the game should be like grand theft auto where you see commisioner gordan and get new missions from him. it would be cool if you could use the batjet and batmobile for transportation around the city.
it should also be co-op and multiplayer fighting in the city or certain areas like on top of buildings.

THIS WAS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO THE PS3 FOR MY SAKE. Let’s see it is obvious that TWO FACE should be in there since the bat is off to stop him. MR.FREEZE sounds nice to have and lets have CLAYFACE escape Arkham since he was held there and was posing as a guard to be let out. SCARECROW having a bigger role seems good too since he survived KILLER CROC. having NIGHTWING/ROBIN/RED ROBIN/ CATWOMAN assist him in the order given. MADD HATTER instead of RIDDLER with twisted demented puzzles. An operable BATMOBILE should play an accentual role. Mayabe even MAN-BAT if nobody said him at all. and JUSTICE LEAGUE tie ins or scenarios would be dope.

I think the sequel should definately be based in the city of arkham. The story should be this : The Warden Sharp feels that the security in arkham asylum isnt good enough so they send the most powerful,clever, and top villains out to be put in more secured asylums or jails. nut inorder for them to get there they must go through the city of arkham. As they are driving in secured trucks it begins to become cold out and it is like a blizzard. The road becomes icy and guess who it is Mr. Freeze. the trucks are out of control and end up crashing. Freeze has teamed up with croc,bane, and scarecrow. they end up getting free and create mayhem in arkham. and of course there will be other characters Im just thinking right now.

Sharp never fled. He feels that security isnt good enough. He stays at the asylum and sends the most powerful and clever villains to jails or asylums that are more secured so they will not bake out.

I would absolutely love to see if they could add in Robin (something the movies of recent years have failed to do), or heck, even make Commissioner Gordon a playable character for co-op. I would also like to see Two-Face, the Penguin, and the Riddler as an actual boss, not just a voice in a head set. Also, taking the game to the streets of Gotham would be AMAZING. Not only could it allow for use of the Batmobile (providing that it is fixed) and the Batcycle, it could also make for a fun element of chaos in the streets, such as if a villain disappears into a crowd of people and Batman must find them. However, if this were to happen, I would hope that they stayed away from what I call “the Spider Man syndrome”, wherein the game creates a sense of “the citizens don’t really get all that affected, and there’s not really a sense of dilemma if they get hurt”. I would hope that if the citizens were in danger, Batman would REALLY face some dilemma inside himself. Also, pushing the moral issue of killing someone or not would be an interesting twist not all that exploited in the first game.

Batman hands down the best comic book/super hero game,the graphics are great not all the slow motion hits connect,i would definately LOVE to see a sequel vehicle levels would be very intresting,more villians in the next such as more Joker[duh]Killer Croc,The Riddler played a huge role in the game but you never even see him the riddles were great even after you beat the game there’s still riddle’s and challenge’s.So the Riddler needs to stay definately.Bane would be great in a sequel,what i want to know is Killer Croc took Scarecrow in his lair we saw him jump into the water with Scarecrow because Killer Croc wanted to eat him at the end of the game HOW DID HE GET LOOSE?Poison Ivy was great also more of her,Joker was the greatest he was excellent,his face was so GREATLY detailed he was phenomenal,his traps the chattering teeth the spray paint all over the walls,THE BEST.Alot of these charaters need to be back in the sequel.Over all the game was one of the best i have ever played,i loved it beginning to end so great job!SEQUEL!!!!!

game was good as a whole..but what as they say “there’s always room for …”
anyways… being able to break lights is a good idea, also i’d like the splinter cell concept where you can hide bodies… another idea i’d like is the concet of counter attacking guys with weapons… i mean like mirrors edge or escape from butchers bay, where he uses their weapons against them… also, in all the batman cartoons..the main parts i enjoyed were the fights..because of its style. that is, there are these sudden blindening flashes when he throws those punches… it looked really awesome!!i’m not sure how exactly it can be brought in.. but its an idea!!
also being able to control vehicles is cool and all… but i just hope it doesn’t end up like the batman: with a vengeance style driving!! i found that part pure hopeless!!but for some reason i don’t like the concept of a sidekick!! unless ofcourse you’re rarely together and just help each other out like resident evil: nemesis. in prince of persia 1 most of the time i had to worry about hitting fara by mistake or her me when there were hordes of spawning enemies!!

what i think they should do is this, take all the elements from the tim burton films and newer films and mix it with arkham asylum by having a lot of criminals and scums aal over town. i would also like to see besides two face also clayface, mr.freeze, mad hatter, maxie zeus, and tweedlde and tweeddle dum and dont forget riddler and i want him in the flesh not on the phone.

It makes sense they would bring back: Scarecrow, Bane and Killer Croc. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Joker again. But you definetly gotta have: Riddler, Mad Hatter, Mr. Freeze and many more. Placing it in Gotham City is brillant. Oh and for the love of god, do not bring Robin into it. Anyone else is fine, but plez not Robin. Great first game. Can’t wait for number two.

Yes, i have another comment, i am starting to think the game might stink because people are suggesting too much villians so i think the plot should involve two face escaping from the bank after the first game and now no one in gotham has seen him scince then. then it’s a year later on new years eve has came and penguin and his gang have returned. then riddler appears on every tv set in gotham demanding one million dollars or gotham will become full of riddles each to cause whith it’s own recipe for choas or as we might say riddled to death. meanwhile scarecrow plans gothams last new yars eve with halloween at the same time if you know what i mean and mr freeze plans for the second ice age and two face is back again also!!!!!

What would be good is if you could explore Gotham in vehicles like the batmobile and the batjet. also co-op with Robin or Nightwing doesnt matter to me as long as it has co-op it would be a great feature.it should aslo have Killer croc,Scarecrow,Bane,Clayface,Mr.Freeze,Man-

for your info zero if we have riddler in the game it will stinkin rock so you and the other people who want riddler on a phone instead of actually seeing must not know the intelegence of him because he could come up with a plan better then two face or joker, so please don’t tell them to include him as a minor villian because i don’t want any more stupid puzzeles on the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and buy the way i agree clayface and manbat should be in the game so eidios plese put them in i mean it’s clayface for god sakes and manbat would kick butt and maybe add madd hatter and the alice in wonderland gang.

I just thought of an even better idea. how about two face and solomon grundy teamed up and topping with riddler and penguin while the rest of gotham is over run by gangs like the alice and wonderland gang, the maxie zeus gang, and the shipshafting gang run by clayface. I was thinking that in the alice and wonderland gang besides having mad hatter, carpenter and tweedle dee and tweedle dum you should make up some new villians like the charecters from the book, take the vanishing cat and the queen of hearts for example then you could have card henchmen like in the movie. also maybe have promethus, ras al ghul, man-bat, killer croc, and scarecrow and maybe mr freeze.

At the end of Batman Arkham Asylum, Bamtan flew into Gothom City and went after The Riddler.I say the sequel takes place not in Arkham Asylum but gothom city this time and we are allowed to use more gadgets and also have the power to use vehicles when ever youd like(such as the batmobile, batplane, or the batcycle). I hated it when we a person besides me asks if we can drive the batmobile and I have to say “no”. Thats what really gives games 9/10 or 8/10 than 12/10. Also there needs to be a couple more villains such as The Riddler and Mr. Freeze. Not only a couple more villains but a couple more heros as well. Robin! taging a long with you to fight and always on your side or command him to go to the batcave(wich we really need the batcave this time!)and find some evidence or info on a villain. Other than those things everything should be the same to make another great Batman game that everyone is looking for. I know how hard that going to be but “hey” all that effort in it would definitely make it to 1st in the best game of #.=)

OKAY, I know what they need to do!!! And if they don’t I will be ticked!! Okay, they need to expend the game into Gotham at least a little bit. They should have iit star out with Bane escaping and no one knows. After Batman hunts him down on the streets of Gotham, he goes to arrest Two-Face. When he arrives with the two villains to Arkham he fonds that the Asylum has mysteriously let every villain loose on the streets of Gotham, allowing Ivy to destroy the town with the help of Bane and Mr. Freeze. More Villains should be introduced, like Slade Wilson better known as “Deathstroke”. They should definitely have Catwoman and Mr. Freeze as a big part of the game. Penguin, I think he would be horrible as a main villain, he should just be shorty in it, like cameo I guess. Scarecrow should be trying to kill the mayor and Joker as always should be trying to kill the Bat, but this time they should make Joker way more intense and make more close up boss battles between him and Batman.Harley should only cameo in it and Harvey Dent should be threatening to explode arkham. Riddler should be in it more, but don’t make him to cheesey. LOL! Make the Riddler find out BAtman is Bruce Wayne and then have him take over Wayne Manor!!!

This game is and always will be amazing. The gameplay was astonishing and the stealth action was just pure awesomeness. They should and i bet, will make another batman arkham asylum but not call it arkham asylum but like gotham’s end or something! love the game add ons, wish there was game add ons!! hope there is!

NO DRIVING!!! NO COOP!! NO OPEN WORLD
you people are asking for too much. I don’t want to see this game turn into a lame GTA copy with bad driving and bad city AI pedestrians (Unless the plot involves the evacuation of Gotham City, or a contained part of it, in which case there would be no need for pedestrians) or have the same crap COOP mode like Resident Evil 5 where you have some bone head following you around all day who gets stuck in the walls and constantly uses the least powerful weapon.
As for setting, having the game in open world style will take away the sense of entrapment and danger

ok, i have a better idea, how about on the night joker ran over the asylum clayface and his band of shapeshifters escape, then batman is in the batmobile on his way to stop the bank robbery caused by two face and heres from oracle that clayfaceis on the loose. after apprehending two face and clay face there are rumors of giant rat infestations spreading all over gotham and soon it is discovered that the rat cathcher is behind it and soon he realeses two face, clayface, riddler, penguin, mad hatter, and mr freeze.

OK, first when batman flies of he goes straight to Wayne manor. He finds out that the robbery by two-face at the end of BAA1 is actually at WayneTech with his henchmen and they are trying to steal some special weapon of some sort. We get to drive the NEW Batmobile through Gotham till he gets to a bridge where it explodes on him and the batmobile is thrown off the Bridge. He then wakes up five minutes later and he is in a small lake next to his batmobile near the bridge that has collapsed. He fixes himself up and has to make his way to the building and up to the top of it.
Encountering on his way Bane, who at the end of BAA1 came out og the docks and grabbed the titan. Killer Croc, who instead of dying fell into a deeper sewerage line. And what would be cool, would be if Scaresrow since he was eaten Killer Croc, was controlling him some how wuth left over Nerve gas. Killer Moth who was never caught and of course at the end Two face, who has captured a secret weapon and tries to use it on Gotham City. But we also need to add some escaping patients of Arkham and The Riddler
And finally if there were to be a third. It could beset on Bruce Wayne’s Mansion in which the Joker Returns and Zsasz who kills Alfred maybe.

ok, i know i keep making all these suggestions but i think this, either danny devito or philip seymor hoffman as penguin, micheal pffeir as catwoman, tommy lee jones as two face or aron eckheart, and jim carrey or johny depp as riddler, and i would also like to see it modeled after the actors like in the game ghostbusters and spiderman so the expieriance would be intresting. I would also like to keep the plot of ratcatcher taking over gotham city whith his rats which would also be intresting because lots of citys have rats which would help apply to gotham citys settings, basically what i am saying is that you should make gotham look like the most dangerous city in the world to live in thats full of crazy scum bags and muggers and some very nasty gangs, but the main question is this, how are we going to do that, well heres your answer which is three words, the dark knight and taking the elements from it too. you see, it wasn’t the villians that helped your game but the atmosphere, what i am saying is make the atmosphere spooky and gothic, then you will get a respected game. p.s. have clay face.

i would love to see harvey two face ,the riddler ,the penguin ,cat woman, mr freeze maybe robin also it would be really awesome to ride the batmobile maybe his bat plane.
and there should be a trilogy to this game. and it would be cool to have joker team up with mr freeze and control gotham city and hack in to the real batcave like in batman forever.
make it longer more to do it was a great game i loved it i just wished it was way longer though. but if robin doesnt make it the game it might be better maybe only on challenge. and have the same villians of the first one just ad more.

I think that it should stay in arkham, otherwise it won’t be as good. They should have two face and the riddler as the main villains, because they are both heard of in the 1st game but not captured. also at the end of the game, either killer croc, scarecrow or bane grab a crate of titan, so have all three of them dosed up on titan as major enemies. save the other villains for next film. you should do seperate missions with nightwing or robin, maybe villain storyline?

No, they were tiresome. Same old, same old. Boss hangs around while cronies fight. Oooh, what gameplay mechanic – jump out of the way of a charging beast. That’s never been seen before! The only boss that felt great and had a rewarding ending was Scarecrow, especially when he keeps injecting Batman futilely.
As for Mad Hatter, he can be extremely creepy.

Most of the ideas people are posting on here are utterly WOEFUL! Stop trying to write an entire storyline on this page! Especially seeing as they all suck. The reason the game was so god in the first place is because all the ideas and production techniques that went into making the game were COOL! There is a reason that they didn’t do some lame GTA/batman hybrid cop out… IT WOULD SUCK! They kept it contained in Arkham because like someone else said; it kept the feeling of danger/entrapment present.
There is also no point in having 500 different super criminals as it would just completely over complicate everything. The plot in Arkham Asylum was so good because the main storyline was so simple!
Joker gets himself caught to get into Arkham. He escapes so he can cause chaos and create Titans.
If you have a storyline where such as: Bane comes into Gotham, kills loads of people; meanwhile Killer Croc has decided to swim over to Gotham and eat the inhabitants; at the same time Mr. Freeze has turned Wayne Manor into some ridiculous ‘Ice Palace’… then it will become far too complicated to make a decent game out of.
Also, one of the things that I found so cool about AA is when you were wandering around in parts of the Asylum and all of a sudden you would see something that linked back to another massive character. I was in awe of Harvey Dent/Two Faces cell when I found it. Even when you first see Poison Ivy in that wierd purple bubble you’re really taken aback by how amazing the scene in front of you actually is!
STOP TRYING TO WRITE STORYLINES!
Suggest gameplay instead!

Stop suggesting unknown villians. No one wants to see black mask or hugo strange or whatever. The things that made this game great is the extremely dark take on all the popular villans(loved the opening part of the game when they’re transferring croc) I think most of us would much rather see a new take on guys like the penguin/twoface/riddler/ etc.No one in their right mind is going to make a game with a bunch of unknown to most of the world and random badguys when they still haven’t used half of the popular ones

i think that kevin and flukey are totally right especially when they said that you shouldn’t add to many supervillians or have it take place in gotham because you wouldn’t really be in danger. we all know that the last game had 8 villians so why not have 8 for this one, i was thinking the same thing that arkham asylum did with walking through it the first time were you are welcomed by the inhabitants. i have two requests that instead of having oracle on the phone you should have lucious fox and instead of having riddler on the phone have him in person, and also name the next one jailbreak. if you agree with me or disagree please comment.

For the record, I’m loving this game. It’s got a great storyline, action, suspense, etc. Just a suggestion for a potential sequel….make the sequel in Gotham City…not just limited to Arkham Island. Make use of the Batmobile and Batwing. Also bring Catwoman, Two-Face, Penguin and even the Riddler (in an expanded role, not just finding his riddles)in as villains. That should make for a GREAT sequel. Keep the graphics and audio the same. Your team seemed to have the right sense as to what the voices of the villains should be…I’m sure you’ll do a great job in that department.

This game was absolutely amazing. I hope they do make a sequel because a game of this calibur just can’t stop with just one release of it. I hope there’s no robin in the sequel, he’s a homo LOL. It needs to maintain it’s dark and sinister feel to the game and bringing in robin would ruin that. True everybody?

I really think that you should have a choise out of who could be the bad guy cause at the end of the game I realised that on each difficulty there was a different endings. (Easy) A titan seram box is floating in the ocean and Banes arm grabs it.
(Normal) A titan seram box is floating in the ocean and Killer crocs arm grabs it.
(Hard) A titan seram box is floating in the ocean and Scarecrows arm grabs it.
So I thought that on each difficulty it will have a different bad guy.
Or you can choose who will be the next bad guy out of the three.

True on every difficulty i had croc grab it aside from that, i really think they should expand 2 the city (for sum ppls comments) maybe they made part1 on arkham and small becuz maybe they wanted 2 see if first of all it was good enough, and 2nd if ppl liked

And i really think AND hope there should be more of batmans detective side not just “scan follow scan follow” there should be more of pickin up samples, u being able to bring it back to the batcave in the batmobile for analysis, u havin to search for two face, riddler, etc.
it would be cool if u would be able to acctually enter buildings like through windows and comin out of them.
last but not least i hope they would take it to like air battles like spiderman web of shadows wall fights that was fun for batman you should be able to run from “roof top to roof top” jump glide and u should DEFINITLY be able to use the batcable when u want on any surface, anyway like u should be able to jump on man-bat and like punch him not like spiderman 3 when u get on harrys glider, it just wasnt u it was just ” click move click move” that wasnt fun it should like be in slow motion u mov the analog in the direction u wanna dodge and puch him more and more until u start to loose altitude and finnaly get him down
AND like sum1 said u REALLY should be invovled with the police department more like comishoner gordon and u should have red robin and catwoman as a sidekick through sum missions (COM) NOT CO-OP and keep oracle to brief u and i really hope there r new weapons ESPECIALLY the classic smoke pellets and better upgrades.And ino im asking for alot but that in my opinion would be the best greatest not only batman game but any game EVER!

my idea for the game is: When batman leaves arkham island, he goes to get Two face but finds out he has left before he arrived. Batman has to take on some of Two faces henchmen or something and then leaves the scene to the bat cave, he then finds Dick Grayson (Night Wing) there, who he has not seen for years. Bruce showers and what not and gets fixed up and begins talking with Dick. Meanwhile a group of criminals (two face, clayface, and many others) are planning to take over gotham and plant bombs all over threatening to blow up parts of the city, and cause thousands of deaths. They are stood there talking when Croc, Bane, and Scarecrow show up. They begin giving them other plans witch are worse and more violent (not gonna say them cuz it could be a twist in the game or something). Then it goes back to bruce and Dick talking when bruce sees the bat-signal. he hops into the batmobile with nightwing and come across clayface, attacking tons of civilians. they begin to fight him when he squeezes himself down into the sewer and they begin investigating. Batman Pages Robin, and robin has just finished beating up some muggers or something. They head back to the batcave, get tons of proper equipment because they have some how found out about Two faces plans. They head on out to go beat up some more dudes planting bombs. One of the dudes gives out a hint and batman alone hops into the batwing and flies off to either black gate or Arkham. he then finds it completely empty exept for one room where joker is sat in a straight jacket rocking himself back and forth in a corner. bat – man begins interrogating Joker and eventually gets some kind of hint about the Riddler. Riddler has broken free of the police and ran to another secret base. later the group of criminals are discussing there new plan and Riddler appears (in the Tux and bowler hat and stuff!!!) he begins describing to them his plans witch only Scare crow agrees on. The group start counting riddler out or trying to kill him and he mind controls them into his plan. any ways its just a start for the story right now. but i think you should be able to page robin or nightwing whenever and u will be able to play as either one of them. but they will not arrive for a while. u will only get to drive the “New” batmobile towards the end at certain points. Batwing only sometimes too. Robin will be able to use his bowstaff instead of the remote control batarang or something. night wing can use his club things. Robin Will be able to glide with his cape and use multiple gadgets (Robin will look like the Robin when hes older and is wearing the long sleeved black red and yellow shirt. also he’ll be wearing a long black (on the outside) and yellow (inside) cape). Nightwing will be wearing the black and blue costume with no cape. instead of Gliding he climbs and is like a gymnast. he will NOT have a major mullet. Batwoman or girl… which ever oracle is, u will not be able to play as cuz shes paralyzed pretty much. I truthfully was disapointed with the Spider man 3 game. Batman: arkham asylum… i give it as many ratings as it can get. the one thing i was disappointed with was how little places he could use the grapple. In the game they will isolate the city and evacuate most of it. there will still be thugs and all sorts. u can go into the better bigger batcave and in wayne manner. once u have beaten the game it should leave a hint for a possible other one! also when u have beaten it u should be able to play the bad guys side of the story. u will be able to play as riddler or whoever. im not sure who of u will like the story, im not even sure if i do. i have heard better. but the thing i like most about my idea, is the robin look, and when he comes and stuff, and Nightwing. i also like the idea from other people and my self of the riddler being in the game. i think him and Scarecrow should be the lead badguys. anyways… its just a start. let me know what you think

i think those ideas are awful okay, people these were inspired by comics, so rocksteady and eidios have to make them like the comics just like in arkham asylum. i think the next one should be based on the long halloween even though i haven’t read it yet and also their were three things that made this game rock and that was a dark atmosphere, a kickbut gameplay, and some very dark villians such as killer croc and bane. now lets go over this all, it all depends on the villians now because first of all we need a dark atmosphere which is gotham itself and the villians support that. now we go over some very cool villians, in the end of the game it hints two face will be in it and i totally agree with that and so we got two face and there were six villians in the game last time so same here and that leaves us with five. first of all theres my favorite which is edwerd nigma aka the riddler who even though he is a weak apponent he is still very dangerous and smart and always has a trick or two up his sleeve, second theres the mad hatter, yes the mad hatter and i know he sounds stupid but he isn’t and he is extremly disturbing and would be great for the atmosphere since it should be dark. next you will probablly know who, non other then clayface himself. clay face would be a good addition to the team because he is both clever and strong unlike other villians and his story of he became clay face is very facinating. thats four villians so theres two more and i think one of them should be scarecrow because he is just plain cool. last but totally not least should be eiter ras al ghul or black mask.

This game truly was the greatest superhero/batman game ever made. i lvoed this games storyline and the dark/hero type persona, how arkum is a thrilling and challenging game how it really appeals to 18 plus audiences. in my opinion if a second game is made i would love to grapple and climb over the streets of gothan stopping robberies and such, maybe the joker plans another arkum escape which all the inmates get off the insland and into the city, and you would have to be bruce wayne as well and batman at nights, living in the wayne masion getting bat calls, going into the true bat cave and driving around in the batrmobile to get you where you have to go. a game that truly defines batman superhero role and persona, just as he was in batman: arkham asylum but it would be awesome to grapple onto gothams buildings drive in the bat mobile ad batwing, justt play the true batman experience just as sophisticated as he was in batman arkhum asylum.

Ivan, there are lots of quality Batman comics out there. I’s suggest getting some trade paperbacks. Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb make a good team, they did the Long Halloween, Dark Victory, and Haunted Knight. if you’re looking for a longer series, “Bruce Wayne: Murderer” starts off a good series that’s followed up with “Bruce Wayne: Fugitive 1,2,and 3. Cataclysm is another good series that starts off “No Man’s Land”. My only advice would be starting back at least a few years ago, as now things in the Batman universe are a bit backwards

I would NOT want Joker in it again, I want Two-Face to have the main villain role in it. And as for who got the TITAN crate, it was Clayface (disguised as either Bane, Croc, or Scarecrow). Supporting him I’d like Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Clayface, and Killer Croc. I would love it for it to be located in Gotham City, but it would take so many years to do, if it were in Gotham, I’d like to have the ability to drive the Batmobile, ability to ‘capture’ random thugs on the streets, ability to be on ALL rooftops, and ability to explore Wayne Manor and the Batcave, maybe even the Police Station. It would take forever to make it a free roam game, so etch that out of your heads people.

I, for one, would be willing to wait the time for a decent free roam game. Better to wait and have an awesome game then get a lesser quality one sooner. I’d also like a world where people like “dilly” don’t dismiss ideas for the game because it would “take forever”. This kind of impatience is what is wrong with us as a society. This game is just totally awesum. i always knew it would be, but i never knew it would be this good. the fighting system is brilliant, the characters are fab, and the smallest details just add to the game, such as batman suit getting slits and cuts as he goes on in the adventure.

I think that the second game should feature Robin and Nightwing, possibly have some co-op with them as playable characters. I’d also like to see vehicles being usable, probably in the way that vehicles are used on Resident Evil 5.
In terms of villains, here’s the villains I can see being used: Two Face, Bane, Mr. Freeze, Riddler, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, Zsasz, Black Mask and, as the final villain; Jason Todd (dunno why, I’d just love to see him as the villain)

First, I just want to say that this is the greatest superhero-comic video game ever created! The stealth, the villains, the gadgets, and detailed combat are the most spectacular features this game has to offer! I would love to see a sequel! I would love to see recurring villains as well as (especially the Joker, Mark Hamill does the best job in playing the clown prince of crime. he really takes me back to when i was a kid watching the animated series) Two-Face, the Penguin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler and Clayface. They are a must in the next game!Introducing Robin is a great time as well. I would love to see a co-op in there so i can play with my brother. I really look forward to the sequel and playing it. I’m sure it’ll knock all the other games that have been released that year out of the park!

I thought the game was really good, however the second one should clearly be set in Gotham City, as although Arkam was big, it wouldn’t be as fun a second time round. I would love to see a more non linear narrative, and maybe a free roaming fighting crime on the streets of Gotham style game, however not loosing the darkness that Arkam Asylum managed to capture so well. I loved the stealth in the game and that has to be kept. But Gotham City has to feature either way.

The game was alright I got slightly tiresome because of the backtracking and going around to the other door sorta of thing. The environments good but too much prison internment areas, from what you’d expect anyway. They could of least reform Arkam back to normal after you finish the game (which was disappointing). But from the rest of your comments we all expect it to be in Gotham City which is more of an open environment. Overall I want him to speed run or use vehicles to get by places quicker.

With all honesty, my mind’s at war if they should or should not make archam asylum 2. Archam Asylum levels ae simply too small for TWO games. Still the first Batman was great and now I think we all need a break from the Joker. Maybe they could have Two-Fce or infamous Riddler as a villain? Just NO joker. Anymore of him, and I’ll smash my face through pencil. Also, I really want to ride the Batmobile or Batwing around in a videogame.

I personally thought this game was awesome it would have been very cool to drive either the batmobile or possably fly the batwing. I think the game should have totally different bosses maybe bring back either one of the three that it shows in the end with the titan formula like bane,croc or scarecrow have the main antagonist be either two-face or Riddler and have it in gotham city. I loved some of the titles the people came up with like assult on gotham and if it did include robin or nightwing maybe call it Gotham Knights. But overall I loved this game it rocks and I think all the people that had there say on this form would buy part two I know I would.

This game was fantastic. More stealth is always a plus for me. Also, it’d be cool if they got some sort of online multiplayer where one person plays as Bats and everyone else is guards and if one of the guards takes down Bats than he becomes bats. I think that would be cool.

The first thing I must say is how much of a success you have put on the first batman arkham asylum. It was very edge of your seat, unexpected, and ready-for-action crime-fighting game ever made. I think the second Batman Arkham Asylum should have Batman fight along with someone that will aid him against Gotham’s most notorious villians. You could always play along with potential allies of Batman such as Robin ( A.K.A. Nightwing ), Batgirl ( however, she is disabled due to an accident caused by the Joker ), so Batgirl would be out of the question, but you could use none other than CATWOMAN. At first, Catwoman and Batman go at it; however, she escapes from Batman after successful jewel-theft robbery. Catwoman should later appear when Batman is battling with either Penguin, Two-face, or Riddler’s thugs. Like in the first Batman Arkham Asylum. I think you should be able to play as Catwoman. Throughout the entire game Catwoman and Batman ally with each other to defeat Gotham’s newest threats.

what about a videogame based on the flash tv series, i would love to see that, and maybe mark hamils days as joker are over but what about the trickster, and you could also have captain cold and maybe even the ghost. another thing is that you should have the gauntlet of super villians. also i still think you should make a new dr.who game consider what that trump company or whatever it’s called created. you should have a keys to time theme where you travel around and fight the master, black guardian, omega, and…… the pea king hamaculus a doll that kills people and don’t forget the yeti, the daleks, the cybermen, the autons, and the ogrons. and pls make these games it would be awesome!!!!!! comment please if you have seen and read the review, and if you’venever seen either shows thats okay , just want comments please.

also for the flash game you should get to play as the villians, trickster and captain cold. for captain cold you have to freeze other competing gangsters and masterminds including the top, the fiddler, mirror masters, and the ghost. for trickster you should just fight the police but it could still be fun because you could also drive the trickster mobile. which could eject marbles and bubblegum when fighting the flash. you should also be able to shoot out laughing gas and sneezing powder at officers as well set traps with ropes to hang them from ceilings and disguise as other people.

They should make a Batman Arkham Asylum 2 or a continuation to the first one. After joker and harley quinn get locked up in their cells, and batman flies back off to gotham city, there could be new enemies like Penguin, Clayface, 2face, Dracula, etc.. Foes from the first game probably couldve escaped like Killer Croc and Bane. (Scarecrow is presumed dead because Killer Croc ate him in Croc’s Lair…i think) There can be allies like Robin, Batgirl, Catwoman (neutral), Huntress, and more. It would be even better if they included some heroes from DC Universe like Flash or something but i doubt it. They should make more gadgets like Batman regularly has like Smoke Bombs, sleep gas and all of that other stuff. The first game was excellent and I cant wait for the next one to come out next year!

i really hope this game is good, and does anyone no when th release date is for the game or the next trailer because if you do please post it on here. also i think that the main villians in the game are two face and joker. there should also be a level where you have to track down riddler to his hideout by listening to his riddles and if you get a riddle wrong and go the wrong way then you get a mission failed, and you should definately have the riddle of the minotaur maze from the animated show with new booby traps that chllenge you mentally and physically, that is what i call one awesome riddler challenge. allot of people want clayface to appear in the game including me and i was just thinking what if like in animated series episode where clayface died from that disease that caused his body to disintegrate,….. well what if he also had that in the game but joker pumped him up with some titan and now you must fight him as a boss? also i would really like to see pengiuin and mr freeze.

I think the story will start right as batman is looking for two-face after a succesful capture batman takes a ride in the new batmobile.But he sees 3 figures Scarecrow,Bane,and Killer croc then they are fighting robin nightwing and catwoman

i think i know whats going on now, ever since two face escaped from prison he has been on the loose for a long time and has topped all the villians along with penguin, so black mask who is angry about it teames up with joker and harley, and they are having a huge gang war, and catwoman is busy robbbing other houses which you will know if you see catwomans cat isis. also, we really need to have nigma and karlo in it too who if anyone on this page doesn’t no what villians they are they are actually clayface and riddler and i really want to see them so badly so pls have them.

guys quit the stupid comments bout the sidekicks. batman proves he doesnt want them, when he turns down down the guards help in the very beginning, saying, “i work better alone”. besides, wht fun would it b if robin defeats henchmen for you and makes it harder to get combos, also distracting you in the predator fights

plus then every thing will be to smal(like badman an the enamies)

an keep the old upgrades in the beginning off the game.
add new gagets to urn, like an electric batarang, the posebiletie to scoot explosifs, an what not.
i also like the idee off new bad suits that you need to ulock trough out the game. but most inportent DO NOT MAKE IT FREE ROME OR IN CO OP.

batman 2 needs a free roaming city access to bruce manor and batcave at all
times for equipment and to check the computer in batcave for more clues like detective stuff ability to travel back and forth by batwing or boat or batmobile
assume the role of bruce wayne to maintain wayne business and change from
bruce to batman when batsign is in the sky and ability to drop criminals off at arkam ability to go in any building and remote control your vehicals on your wrist!

The villain I can’t wait to battle is the Riddler. Even though he was apprehended (after you solve all the Riddler challenges), he has to be in number two. They eventually captured the Joker, and he got away (according to the Batman Arkham Asylum 2 trailer), so can the Riddler. The Riddler will really test Batman’s intellect. Other villains that would be awesome are Two-Face (we already know he’s going to be in it), Mr.Freeze (you can see his frozen cell in the first game, in extreme isolation I think), and the Penguin (Iceberg Lounge in number two trailer). They already did everything they could with Poison Ivy, so leave her out. Catwoman would be cool as an anti-hero in the game that helps Batman out from time to time. Robin might be cool as a second playable character, but usually when they introduce Robin things go bad, so it might be better just to leave him out. Not sure what they’re going to do with Scarecrow, Bane, and Killer Croc, but it will be interesting.

like the game a lot, but i think that batman should work alone , he always works alone , if there were a sequel same game play , new bosses, same batman, no robin new technology and a more deep story , maybe a little something to spice it up

excuse me batman phsyco but in what trailer did it show comishoner gordon because everytime i go on youtube it shows the same trailer and you also said the game would be called batman battle for gotham and they have not even announced the title so where exactly did you find this.

This game is amazing!!!Best of all is physx!!But i guess the game should had been a bit longer and more exciting. it deserves the best game of the year 2009!!In the 2nd version, i hope there would be no scarecrow. more other characters should be inclued. In the 1st version the game ends after a call of robbery by TWOFACe, the game should start from fighting TWO face countinue with others. There should be more fights including joker a.k.a the loser who cant battle on his own.!!! The system requirements should get down a bit!! for the CPU and GPU!!
