This Week’s Xbox Live Arcade Titles: Axel & Pixel, Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space

Major Nelson has announced this week’s Xbox Live Arcade games for October 14:
- Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space (1600 Microsoft Points): The adventure game series continues. While it may cost 1600 MSP, you’re getting five episodes as before. If you love adventure games, Season Two is a must-get.
- Axel & Pixel (800 Microsoft Points): : This is a strange-looking title that clearly takes some inspiration from Braid, in that it’s a cel-animated, artistic puzzle game with platformer elements – as well as a few other genres. It looks like a nice diversion, though downloading the trial before committing is probably a good idea here.
