The next PlayStation 3 firmware update, version 3.15, will include PSP Mini compatability, reports Joystiq.
In addition to adding Minis support, update 3.15 will simplify the process of moving data from one PS3 to another. For example, if you own both a PS3 Phat and Slim, you’ll be able to connect the two systems via a LAN cable and transfer data from one system to the next. Right now, it’s unclear how beneficial this service will be – who is going to pay $10 for Tetris with no online multiplayer, leaderboards or updates? – but perhaps Minis will improve when developers know the PS3 will be running it.
