My favorite game of 2009 is Batman: Arkham Asylum. Finally a Batman game worthy of playing and it’s nice and dark. I had about lost hope with some of the fluffy Batman movies (Batman Forever, Batman & Robin) and this game brought the kind of grit and darkness that Batman Begins revived. This game reminds me a lot of the darker Batman comics. And Mark Hamill’s voice work as the Joker was worth the price of admission alone.
If I win I would like the game for Playstation 3. Thank you.

i believe modern warfare 2 is the game of the year because it is a great first person shooter and i like the fact that in the story you play as other characters on other side not just 1 guy with one goal. great exp. and multiplayer but many modded matches is the only flaw.
I would like the Xbox 360 version.

My favorite game of 2009 is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The great thing I love about this game is the graphics on the PS3 system. Put those graphics on an HD tv and you got a seizure! No kidding! Actually yeah I am, but it’s like I’m IN the war (not a really fun feeling, but exciting XD)! The missions in the game are so intense and random that you feel so accomplished when you’ve completed one. It’s just great! I don’t know how someone could NOT love that game.
If I win, I’d like it for PlayStation 3

I think the Game of the Year is Dragon Age Origins. Seems like its a combination of all the great games lately put together in one awesome game! Thanks for the opportunity. My choice is Xbox 360.

My vote would be for Batman AA. Though I liked both MW2 and UC2, Batman AA brought something new to the table. The smooth flowing nature of combat was impressive. The way Arkham Asylum’s environments kept expanding as we went deeper and deeper into the game was great. The story again was awesome for a game, and not some weak scaffolding meant to support great gameplay. I liked the fact that they went for a dark and dreary look to the game (and succeeded wonderfully) rather than the cartoony style of certain previous Batman titles (read: Vengeance).
It was wonderful to hear the voice of Mark Hamill play the joker to perfection. If ever there was an animated/game equivalent to the The Dark Knight’s Joker this was it. Kevin Conroy sounded good as Batman too. Quite frankly the game had me riveted to the seat and I was itching to play more, to prey upon the Joker’s henchmen and slip back into the shadows undetected and I wanted to know what came next almost as much as I wanted my next breath of air.
The game also offered plenty of re-playability in the Challenge Rooms and all the items you could collect in the grounds of Arkham.
This was definitely my game of the year.
If I win, then I’d like it for the PS3 please.
Thanks.

I’d probably go with Scribblenauts… interesting concept and a lot of fun to mess around with. Also provides a lot of laughs (well, for the first few hours or so).
If I win I’d take the Wii version. WHEEEEEE!
Thanks for the chance to win!

Best Multiplayer Gameplay of 2009 goes to New Super Mario Bros. Wii!! Its like I hopped into my Delorean and went back to 1990 to play one of the all time best games ever – Super Mario Bros. 3. Whether you are trying to actually play the game and defeat the Koopalings or if you want to see how many times you can throw a shell at your partner or throw them into a hole, SMB Wii will have me and my buddys glued to the TV for hours! The easy controlls and simple side scrolling gameplay even lets the wife join in on the fun!
XBOX360 version of MUA2, please.

I think Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 should win game of the year. Modern Warfare 2 is a great addition to an ever expanding IP and I can not wait to see where they will go next with the Call of Duty franchise.
If I win I would like Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 for the Wii!

Batman: AA is the game of the year. This is probably the best comic book game ever made. The entire setting was amazing; the graphics and voice acting were top notch, but the little details added so much. Between the riddles with all the references to the comics and other characters and villains, to the hilarious dialogue by the henchmen and Joker.
When I started playing it, I couldn’t put it down, the fighting system is wonderful, and the stealth is fantastic. I was addicitated to getting all the trophies cause it was just so fun to play.
I already played this game twice when it was released, and when I finish of some of the newer games like Assassin’s Creed II or Dragon Age, I think of playing Batman again.
If I win, I’ll take my copy for PS3.
