Microsoft’s official store has listed the Kinect at $149.99. That is the rumored production cost of the motion control device.
Microsoft has yet to officially announce a price, however, as they may opt to lower the price for market saturation.
Larry Hryb confirmed this to me in an email: “Jonah, we have not official announced a price yet.” So the price listed at Microsoft is a placeholder.
Let us know what you think.

OK so…
1 Player Cost:
Kinect – $150
Move – $180 (cost of two Move wands and one nunchuck.)
2 Player Cost:
Kinect – $150
Move – $210 (two Move wands and two nunchucks.)

And neither will sell at that price point.
I’d announce Kinect is $150, but that it would be $75 for the first three months of release.

$150 is about £100 in the UK, and I don’t think it will sell well here for £100 at all! – it’ll just initially appeal to the “I just have to have one right now” brigade… – me!
