Frank O’Connor: Master Chief Will Return

While Halo: Reach will be dealing with Noble Squad, 343 Industries’ Frank O’Connor is reassuring fans that Master Chief will be back in a future Halo project. He told them this at a Comic Con panel.
When we left Chief at the end of Halo 3, he told Cortana, “Wake me when you need me” and went into cryosleep. In Halo 3′s Legendary ending, we saw Master Chief’s ship reach a mysterious planet (and O’Connor calls it a “planet” and not a ship). So what comes next?
“We’d have to be the world’s biggest a**holes not to follow through,” O’Connor said. “We certainly haven’t seen the last of Master Chief.”
