Legit Forza 4 Users Banned for Piracy

Forza Motorsport 4 launched globally over the past few days and was immediately followed by complaints of users being banned for playing pirated versions of the game. Unfortunately many of the complaints are coming from people who legitimately purchased the game. Microsoft support is pointing the finger at Turn 10 who, in turn, had been blaming piracy detection software on Microsoft’s side.
The latest post in the Turn 10 forum is that they are aware of the issue and are looking into the problem. If you feel you have been unfairly banned, you can contact the developers directly via forzafb@microsoft.com.
One of the leading theories is that folks who use a cheat to increase their funds are being banned so if you’re thinking about doing that… don’t. It also seems to apply to people who accept insane amounts of money (counterfeit in game money?) for their cars in the auction house.
