Rage Hits Mac OS

id Software’s heavily hyped Rage was somewhat of a letdown, but still is a solid shooter experience. Now, Mac users can check it out.

According to GameSpot:

The Rage: Campaign Edition includes the entire campaign from October’s shooter, Anarchy Edition content (weapons, buggy, and armor), and the Wasteland Sewer missions, which were new purchase incentives for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

The game is available in English, French, and German through Apple’s Mac App Store, publisher Aspyr’s proprietary store Game Agent, and “other” Mac digital distribution outlets.

Let us know if you’re going to be picking up the Mac version of Rage.

I already own a copy on the 360, so it will have to significantly drop in price ($40 right now.) Being that this has no multiplayer, many mac owners are not going to buy a “crippled” version just on principal.

I own a 2011 iMac, great machine, but for those who want to play games, it is much better to either boot camp with windows, or my choice, pick up an xbox or playstation for their gaming needs.
